Online Summer School Programs & Courses
Get On Track, Get Ahead, Get Inspired
K12 gives students a great opportunity over the summer to catch up, get ahead, try a new language, or explore electives so that they can start the next school year strong. Whether your child is already enrolled in a full-time K12-powered public or private school, or you want to take advantage of the summer months to supplement your child's traditional brick-and-mortar education, K12 has options for students in grades 6–12 that can fit your needs.
- Get back on track with credit recovery courses in key subjects. Designed for students in grades 6-12 who didn't pass a subject the first time, these courses use new approaches to teach unlearned concepts, letting students move past material they've already mastered. Most are ELL-supported.
- Get prepared for the transition from middle to high school with summer immersion in areas such as algebra I, American literature, biology, and more.
- Get ahead in a core high school subject or a world language.
- Get inspired with career-building electives or personal enrichment courses, including astronomy, web design, and skills for health.

Credit Recovery Courses
The Keystone School offers credit recovery courses for students in grades 6–12 that are designed to supplement your school's existing curriculum and give students a chance to earn credit in subjects they previously failed.
After first obtaining approval for Keystone's credit recovery courses from their school counselor, principal, or other authorized school official, students complete the courses independently and submit their work to Keystone for evaluation. Our evaluators then report the student's grade to the student's guidance counselor, who will assign a grade and credit.
The Keystone Credit Recovery catalog includes courses in language arts, math, science, social science, health, and world languages. Most can be taken as correspondence courses (on paper, by mail); many are also available as online courses. Online courses begin at $116 for a single semester, and $155 for a full year, while correspondence courses are $116 for the entire year.
Find out more about this affordable and effective way for your child to get back on track this summer by browsing the online Keystone Credit Recovery catalog, or calling us at 800.255.4937 to speak to a knowledgeable enrollment consultant who can help you make the choice that's right for you.
