Elementary school is a formative learning period for your child. This stage of their education establishes critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills that will help lay a foundation for future success.
This time in your child’s development also encourages curiosity, creativity, and exploration. Each child grows at a different pace, so it is crucial to provide children with an environment where they can thrive.
K12-powered online elementary schools offer your child a personalized education on a schedule that works for you and your family.
Tailor-Made Online Elementary School Programs
K12-powered virtual elementary public schools give your child a well-rounded, quality education that fits your family’s schedule. K–5 programs offer courses in English, history, math, science, music, art, and world languages.
The K–5 curriculum is mastery based, which allows your child to work at a pace best suited for their learning process. As the parent or legal guardian, you act as your child's Learning Coach. Your role is to guide your child through their daily lessons and ensure they stay on track to succeed. You'll also work closely with online teachers to monitor your student’s progress.
K12-powered online elementary school programs combine hands-on learning materials with engaging online lessons to create a learning experience tailored to each individual child’s needs. This personalized approach means your child can study at the pace that’s right for them, and online assessments help ensure that your child is mastering their lessons before moving on to new subjects.
Should I Enroll My Child in an Online Elementary School?
Online schooling can offer you and your child more freedom than typically offered by traditional brick-and-mortar schools. K12-powered online public elementary schools are full-time and tuition-free*—just like traditional public schools and the teachers are state certified.
You can also choose from two K12-powered private elementary schools, K12 International Academy or The Keystone School. Please be advised that private schools do charge tuition.
